Fletcher Price

Hi there! My name is Fletcher Price and I have been in the world of entertainment since I was a child. My career began at the age of 3 on stage and in front of cameras acting and modeling. So being in front of a crowd has never been intimidating for me. My passion for music also came to me young due to my Grandfather’s love for Oldies and Showtunes. In fact, my first CD ever was Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (which was not a request on my part). But Grandpa’s influence lit my fire to seek out what “other” kind of music existed. From that time forward, I’ve always loved music and what it does for me and other people. That’s where it all began for me.

By the time I got into High School, I was ready to show my stuff on stage. Theatre was for me. The irony in this is if you were to meet me, you would have never guessed my outgoing stage presence as I was viewed as the shy kid! I realized as I got older that getting in front of a camera or on a stage I was able to become who I am today. I personally am a very outgoing, go with the flow kind of guy, and that is why I love DJ’ing. When at a gig sometimes things don’t always go as planned, and I am the kind of person who will go with whatever is put in front of me. I always use that philosophy and state of mind whenever I am at your event so that you have no reason to worry or have to be stressed with anything at your event. Let me, your DJ, do that for you!

I also work here in our office as a technician, and maintain our digital world to ensure that when your DJ gets to your event, they have absolutely nothing to worry about. I help to ensure every week that the gear that your DJ uses is in top shape for your event.

My other abilities that I have developed over the years are being able to read a crowd and beatmixing. Reading a crowd basically means knowing what to play and when to play it. It is a hard skill to develop and is one I will always be developing further. As new music comes out at such a fast pace that it does, crowd behavior changes too, and being able to read a crowd can prevent an empty dance floor. Along with being able to read a crowd, is being able to communicate with them. I love being able to get on the microphone and make someone smile, because not only did I remember their name, but I also remembered what we talked about. A philosophy I follow is simple: “People like to party with their friends” and I want you to have a great party, therefore I want to make friends with as many of your guest as possible.

Beat mixing is an extremely important aspect of any party, it keeps a flow going. I pride myself on staying on top of the newest and hottest songs as well as styles. When I refer to beat mixing, I am not speaking of the vinyl wicky -wicky scratching of the olden club days, I am speaking of flowing from one song to the next without missing a beat, keeping your dance floor full.
